I have two things to share this week, but first, I hope you enjoy a beautiful Memorial Day Weekend. I’m sure some of us will see each other down at the Fairhaven Festival or out on the Ski to Sea circuit. Have fun and enjoy our lovely city/county!
Thing #1 – Join the One Parish, One Prisoner Team
Last week, we heard from Alvin Shim from Underground Ministries about his friend, Clifford. We are assembling our team to support Clifford’s transition from incarceration (“the tombs”) to new life. Please fill out the Registration form at the bottom of the page to join the team. Once we have at least 5 members on our team, we will get our group together to start supporting Clifford. Let’s do this!
Thing #2 – Welcome Rev. Laura Terasaki!
Northwest Coast Presbytery welcomes our new Executive Presbyter, Rev. Laura Terasaki! Laura has hit the ground running, coordinating with and supporting our network of Presbyterian churches in a new season of life and growth. This Sunday, we have a chance to welcome Laura to our worship service at St. James, hear her preach, and learn more about how our Presbytery can encourage our thriving ministries and how we can support them.
